WOW! GOOD NIGHT! :D

Hellooo...

I could write two separate blogs tonight but i wont, i will fit it all into one :D so here goes....

After church about quarter past 7 i walked home with Becs. We talked about the future, the present and the past of course, worries, joys, problems, friends, family, all sorts. After talking to her about some of my worries it brought quite a lot of emotion to the surface. She went on to walk to her friends house so i walked home but took a bit of a detour along the beach.
I was walking along the beach on the verge thinking about things that are going on in my life, things that need changing and things that aren't great atm. I sat down on a little grass ledge and was starting to get quite worked up and started praying out loud. I looked up from the ground and was instantly shocked. Every time i go to the beach i forget how magnificent it is! it is absolutely beautiful. I was immediately overwhelmed with a peace that is still in me now after 2-3 hours. i didn't worry any more, i physically couldn't. and all i could think about was how brilliant god is. how amazing His creation is.
Here are a few pictures i took. They are no where near as the actual view but just so you can see a little bit of what i saw:

So... after getting home i had a nice relaxing bath and got ready to do my drama work. This was just to research the person we wanted to be hot seated for but it had to be something to do with the Yanomami tribe. I already had decided that i was going to be a missionary. so i knew exactly what to type into google :P
I clicked on a site called the NTM (New Tribes Mission) and it is absolutely amazing! It is basically a site about a a group of people who are trying to plant churches and reach out to the people ho are in tribes like the Yanomami tribe. i read all these different news things, and all these different prayer requests. What they do. What they want to do. What they are trying to do. It is brilliant! i could have stayed on that site all night it was so fascinating.
In the end i knew i had to come of and carry on with my work but i was so fascinated i became a subscriber to the site and now i am going to get weekly prayer requests sent to me.
You may not find this remotely interesting but i was so interested! These people live like a 1000 years behind us. Most of them have only just discovered medicine and have been depending on a witch doctor for 100's of years!
I am so fascinated about how God is working through these missionaries to meet with these tribes. I couldn't stop reading! So if you are interested go onto the site! it is amazing!! :D

This is the first news headline i read:

Monday, Ezekiel and Safira, Yanomami believers in Brazil, were able to fly out to the nearest hospital so that their toddler could be treated.

Once again an aircraft provided a lifesaving link between a tribal village and medical help. The missionaries had called the plane to transport the 19-month-old child who was desperately ill with symptoms that had recently claimed the life of another infant.

When the child arrived at the hospital, the doctors immediately began searching for a diagnosis. The doctors now believe that the child may have meningitis and he is in isolation at the hospital while the couple stays near the hospital.

Missionary Brenda Poulson wrote on Monday, "We heard news concerning the child on the radio this morning. Safira is crying constantly so please keep praying for their comfort, patience, and that they would get some rest. It's really difficult for [Yanomamis] to stay in the hospital, as there is usually no way to hang up a hammock and that's the only way they sleep comfortably. Ezekiel may not even be at the hospital so that makes it even more difficult for Safira."

Enoque, Safira's father, who had taken the child to a witchdoctor for a healing ritual before the arrival of the plane, came to see the missionaries asking about the child. "We explained [how the child was] and told him that God is the most powerful One," Brenda wrote, "and He can heal his grandson if He desires.

"Pray that Ezekiel and Safira will continue strong and be testimonies to their families." Pray also that Enoque will see God's power and will trust Him as his Savior.
